Using Method:

These seem to be functioning just fine BUT they ONLY read in Celsius (not a deal breaker) but all of the little plastic cases are not assembled and are very fragile. Once they are assembled they are stronger. I did manage to assemble them all even with my arthritis but a few pieces did break. But in the end they did function.

Look up W1209 online for programming instructions. I have not powered all of them up yet, but the few I did, work just as expected.Plastic holder case is fine, but does take a little fussing to get it assembled.Planning on using this to drive a 12V SLR mounted on a heat sink. That is how I always use temp controllers. Let the SLR handle the heavy switching load and most of these cheap controllers work without issue for years.Learned my lesson long ago. Don't trust the little integrated relays in these cheap units to handle large switching loads and you are good to go. Do it this way and save yourself $100's on your DIY projects. No need for those more expensive units in order to get away from a separate SLR. Using dedicated SLR's for each load is how they do it in industry equipment even when they do use the more expensive controller units. Just common sense!Happy with my purchase!
