These are pretty solid rock lights, not cheap plastic housings. The housing is made out of cast aluminum. The wires are thick enough to crimp or soldier to without concern. I can see that the lights boards are waterproofed in epoxy. I got these for a special task. To put one of each of my portable battery boxes I made as gifts. One of these gives out a very bright flood light, which lights up a great deal of space. Like an entire room. So i imagine all of these mounted under one vehicle would be neat.

Great product. I live in Oregon, where it rains 75% of the time. I’m very pleased with the quality of the product, its waterproof abilities. I actually bought extras assuming they would fail. Worth the value at this price point.

These LED lights are supposed to be installed on wheel wells and whatnot. They can be installed anywhere on the vehicle, actually. I needed these for the trunk of my car. These lights are super easy to install and draw very little current. You can tie them in to existing circuits or wire them alone. This 6 pack is enough for most projects. I installed 2 in my trunk and 2 under the hood for better illumination. I have 2 left over that I plan on wiring into my reverse lights on my truck for better visibility at night.Each light is filled with epoxy for water resistance. They also come with a foam backing that allows it to sit flush and provides a slot for the wire to fit. This eliminates the need to drill 3 holes (two for mounting hardware and one for wiring). With this design, you just need the two holes for the bolts and the siring comes out the side.The lights are nice and bright. Suitable for most applications.

This set of rock lights is awesome, they’re made real well and do hold up to the elements. They’re easy to install although I recommend using wire loom to protect the wiring from rocks off-roading because the rocks kicked up will break these small wire connections underneath vehicle if you don’t … Happens to mine quite often so I’ll be using wire loom with this set .. Great deal for IMO one of the best rock lights you can get .
