I have 2017 Buick Encore. My driver seat started an issue where the seat could move backwards without issue but would not forward. After doing some research, I found that it was likely the seat switch. Removal was as easy as removing a couple screws holding the plastic panel on the seat to get access to the switch, removing the button cover, removing a couple of screws holding the switch to the panel, replacing the switch and reversing the process to reinstall. After replacing, the seat now moves in all directions with no problem. It's significantly cheaper than the oem part and fits and functions the same.
