we were looking for these type of tiles and could not find them anywhere. Apparently this style is discontinued, according to all the tile stores. Finally we found them here, and they are perfect. We couldn't be more excited, they match our old tiles perfectly.

I bought a single four-pack of these 6" tiles to use as dish covers for my rectangular Duralax lunch dishes in the microwave. There is just enough air-space between the tile and the glass dish to let steam escape but keep splatters off the microwave's walls. I was using a Corelle lunch-plate or saucer but the shapes are a mis-matche and they slid off the dishes too often. I consider the tiles to be food-safe as I am using them glazed side down. I wash them by hand and air-dry. I affixed little Sugru pads on the corners of bisque side so they don't scratch surfaces when I flip them off and dish and set them down in the sink or on the counter.

I bought these to do a repair in the bathroom when the blender no longer functioned, it was nearly impossible to find this almond colored tile that went out in 1994. This was the closest thing i could find, shipped fast and people do not notice any real shade difference unless you tell them that there was a repair.
