The stones are very pretty; however. I was disappointed Much effort goes into presentation and description while leaving out important factors such as: : the size; no drilled hole and flat on one side.

I’m always skeptical about buying gemstones on Amazon, but I had read the reviews for some of this seller’s other stones for sale, and people had good things to say. And these are priced well, so I took a chance purchasing them. These cabochons are beautiful! They’re exactly 6x8mm and each stone has blue/rainbow flash. I’m super happy with this purchase!

Please pay close attention to the dimensions: I did not and was very much surpised as amazon's listing picture made them look bigger than they are. These stones are beautiful, but they are tiny! They will not work for my intended purpose, and I am not sure if/how I'd be able to use them, but I am not discounting the rating, because I did not check the dimensions.

6x8mm Oval Rainbow Moonstone AAA Quality Natural Calibrated Cabochon Loose Gemstone 10 pcs Box.I picked these up to add to my collection. These are very small moonstones. This is no surprise. The first picture in the product information makes them look huge, but the description of 6x8mm is completely correct. That's the size that they are. Other images in the product information show their real size. Have a look at all of the product images to determine if they're what you're looking for.The come in a small plastic box with a clear lid. They are pretty and they will not take up a lot of space in my collection. I am glad to have them though.

These have a good internal blue fire, with a bit of yellow at the right angle. They are much more radiant on a black background than on a lighter one.The stones are highly polished. The backs of the stones are also highly polished, and slightly convex, so you'll need good adhesive or a good setting to hold them.
