I haven't permanently installed it yet, I just played with it on the workbench. I had no problem connecting to my phone using BT. The touchscreen seems reasonably responsive, I didn't notice any significant lagging, The screen and camera resolution look really good. Overall it seems like a nice system to upgrade an older vehicle. I'll be installing it in an antique car for an upcoming road trip.

Bought this CarPlay stereo to upgrade an old car that I was afraid to fiddle around with electronics, easy set up quick mounting and great display using the FM transmitter you can get sound through the original car stereo works great with the iPhone CarPlay feature and I can now have an upgraded system fully functional Without any installation expenses

I recently purchased the ZUCWO 7-Inch Wireless CarPlay Screen, and it has exceeded my expectations in both quality and performance. The installation was quick and easy with the provided tools, and the screen size is perfect—large enough for clear visibility without being obtrusive. The display is crisp, and the software is highly responsive, making navigation smooth and intuitive. The wireless connection works flawlessly, allowing seamless access to maps, music, and calls without any interruptions. One standout feature is the anti-glare matte finish protector. While it slightly reduces text clarity when the thin film is removed, it significantly enhances the anti-glare effect, which is a top priority for me while driving.I haven’t installed the backup camera since my car doesn’t require one, but given the overall quality of the system, I expect it to perform well.Overall, this CarPlay system is an excellent upgrade for older vehicles, offering great value for the price. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and user-friendly CarPlay solution.

While I do have an android auto system built into my SUV, it's wired via USB. I got a wireless adapter, and it works, but every time I hit a bump too hard, or I make a sharp turn, it disconnects and it's very difficult to get it connected again (which was my issue with doing it with my phone directly via the USB for Android auto in the first place). It seems like there is an issue with the USB connection inside my car somewhere being loose or unstable. This is such an easier fix. It connects to my phone via Bluetooth, completely wirelessly. When I was setting it up, there was an option to do audio to the car speakers through FM radio. I just select the same radio station on my car as the one I choose on this system, and it plays the audio through my car speakers. It turns out that my car does not have an aux input, so I wasn't able to try that. There is the option to use the built in speakers too, but I prefer my car speakers. I did not test if I can connect to my phone via Bluetooth and connect to my car via Bluetooth with this device at the same time as I really liked the radio option. It comes with a mount that attaches to the dashboard. It's nice and sturdy, but I'm personally not the biggest fan of dashboard mounted devices, and if I were to put it on the dashboard, I would have two screens in front of me, and that seems a little excessive.I do have a mount that is a little closer to me in my cup holder that I'm using, and as it's closer, it's a bit quicker to set up navigation. Now whenever I turn my car on, my phone automatically connects to this device. It is powered through a cigarette lighter to USB C plug, so when the car turns on, the cigarette lighter gives it power and it turns on right away. This has Android auto and Apple carplay. As I am an Android user, I used Android auto. This also has a screen mirror option, but it didn't seem as responsive as just touching my phone screen. There is a backup camera that can be installed and attached to this device, but as I have one built into my car, I decided not to install this, especially if I need to tap into the wiring to activate it when I'm reversing. The screen is bigger than my phone screen, but smaller than the built-in screen in my car. It is a good size, and it's nice that the device is always mounted, so I don't have to keep taking it out and putting it back in. It has the option to put a micro SD card in it for recording videos. Overall, I think this is a really nice device. It's super useful. I never go anywhere without navigation, so having my Android auto working perfectly is great. This is such a good device that I think I want to get one for my mom as she does not have a screen built into her car. I'm really happy with this and would 100% recommend this to friends and family.Update:For longer drives, I notice that using the FM radio station isn't ideal as I sometimes get a static noise when I'm getting in range of another station or something...But there's another option. There's an option to select for the audio to come out of my car speakers via Bluetooth. I didn't understand at first as most of the instructions are on the device itself, not in the manual and you need it powered on to do it.Basically, you select the option for Bluetooth, and it tells you to connect to your car audio via Bluetooth from your phone. Once you do that, it'll play all audio through the car speakers. I prefer this option. I wasn't reading the screen properly or in time or something when I initially tried setting it up, so I wasn't initially aware of this option. Now, every time I start my car, it connects to my phone and also the car speakers. It's just as good as my wireless receivers were, except it isn't connected to my car via USB, so I'm not having the disconnect issues every time I hit a bump. I made a 2 hour drive, a 15 minute and a 30 minute drive so far with it, and each time, it has been great. I just start my car and it starts up as it's powered via the cigarette lighter. I can't believe that my car doesn't have an AUX input... I guess that's too old-school for 2021 vehicles... but anyway, I'm happy to announce that while I haven't found a great station for my drives in FM mode, it does work via Bluetooth, you just have to read the screen and follow simple directions. And I'm assuming it works via aux... but my 2021 toyota highlander XLE is...lacking...I didn't love the built in speakers. While better than my phone, it's not car speakers.I'm really pleased with this, especially after taking more drives with it and seeing it in action for longer.

This is for my son's 2009 Subaru. He currently has a bluetooth to FM converter for handsfree calls, but if he wants to use MAPS then we're back to handling the phone. This takes care of that. It took less than a minute to connect to my Android phone, and seems to work great. The sound from the speaker is bad, but there is an audio out available. There are mounting options and hardware included, which may be why the unit seems rather large for what it is.I might remove another star if I have problems with this unit. The FIRST unit I received worked only for a few days then would not power on. I could find no way to contact the seller, just a canned troubleshooting chat in Amazon. I ended up doing a "replace with the same item" return and this SECOND unit has been working for a week.
