The diamond coating flaked off right out of the bag!!!Seriously, not even one use!!!!800 grit was the first usable sponge…Look elsewhere if you actually need to use the sponges!!!

These diamond sanding pads is a nice set that comes individually packaged in reusable clamshell type packaging. My wife does a lot of resin casting and these pads absolutely rock for wet sanding to a mirror finish. We have tried many sources for great sandpaper and wound up at the automotive paint supply place for the most effective that we have found so far. That is before these pads arrived. These are hands down the best product for sanding resin that we have found to date. Having all the way up to 3000 allows for a shine like no others which will set her products apart.These would be great for other uses as well. I bet they would do a fantastic job on tired yellowed headlights on cars, but that’s pure speculation on my part so try at your own peril, as well as the intended use of granite countertops etc.For what sanding pads commonly go for this set of diamond pads represent a great value for the money and I recommend them wholeheartedly.

tried do polish a small section of a granite counter top with really crappy results. even the reall fine grits left scratchs..
