The bowls are nice and very light weight but some of the lids dont close and pop up unless something is sat on top of it.

I really like the bowls but I wish the metal was a little thicker.

Great bowl set with lid! This bowl set is perfect for prep for cooking and storage.I like to cook Asian food and Asian food needs lots of ingredients. I need to prep lots of stuff for my dishes such as ginger, green onions, peppers, etc. Now having this bowl set, I don’t have to pile up my ingredients on the kitchen counter or using my China set to hold them. Using China set, I often break them when I turned around and couldn’t hold them in time. This bowl set is made with stainless steel which I don’t need to worry whether it will break when I made sudden movements. The lids are great added feature. If I can’t use all the ingredients, I can put the lid on the bowl and reuse it the next day! I even use it as food storage if I have any leftovers. The biggest bowl is very useful to me as well. I use it as mixing bowl when I make salad!I am so happy with this set so far!

I was looking for prep bowls with lids to store prepared foods before cooking, and I think this product offers a good price for 7 mixing bowls of different size that are suitable for food preparation and storage. The silicone lids are designed in a way so that they are easy to open, and the nesting bowls fit into each other for minimum space usage.Note that the lids are quite basic and are NOT dishwasher safe though. Also, It would be better if the lids are compatible with grater attachments or have other color options.

These bowls can basically only be used as mixing bowls. The lids do not fit and are essentially just sitting on top of the bowl.

Claims it comes with silicone bottoms and colored lids, the lids are solid black and there are zero silicone on the bottom of the bowls

I didn’t buy these for mixing. I bought these because I was sick and tired of the mish-mash of Tupperware type containers, and left over take-away containers, that I was using for putting my leftovers in the fridge. My drawer was too full, I could never find the right lids, and I felt messy whenever I opened it. Plus the plastic ones stain over time, if you’re saving bolognaise sauce or curry, and stained plastic containers just added to a sense of shabbiness. So I decided to be more organised. I thought that, as these stacked inside each other, they would be easy to organise and take up less drawer space. I considered glass ones, but I just knew that certain household member would break them when rushing to empty the dishwasher. I thought that steel would be strong and unbreakable.I know some are huge and wouldn’t be good for leftovers, but I thought these would be useful for serving dishes; salad, bread, popcorn, crisps etc. They are stackable, and the lids will sit on top for storage (see photos). They sit on top without sliding off due to the shape. I don’t take them out of the house so they wouldn’t be tipped upside down or anything, so I haven’t tested to see if they’re watertight. The smaller bowls are suitable for leftovers for one or two people (about half of them, depending on amount). But then, if you’re a family of four or more, you could batch cook and store these meals in the bigger bowls too.I want these containers to change my life. So far, I have batch cooked and stored soup and am very happy with them for that. If they do that for £20.99, then I consider them value for money. Can’t speak about rusting as haven’t had them long enough, but fingers crossed…Edit: DO NOT WASH LIDS IN THE DISHWASHER! I WASHED THE SMALLEST LID IN THE DISHWASHER AND NOW IT WILL NOT CONNECT TO THE CONTAINER AT ALL. I WILL TRY HAND WASHING THE OTHERS WHEN I USE THEM. JUST WANTED TO WARN YOU BEFORE YOU DID THIS TOO...
