They work very well when installed with the proper equipment. The points should not be sold without the installation tool. After sorting through a couple of tool chests and flattening a half dozen points. I located a chisel that served the purpose. My guess is most of us buying these are not professional framers and don’t always have access to an assortment of tools.

All you need is a screwdriver with a wide tip and a smaller hammer. Easy to place. Reframed needlework after taking it apart to clean after 34 years.Quantity is just right. I can use these to replace any broken window panes. Also.

Some time back my frame point driver broke. These are expensive and I rarely flat frame. These glazier points are easy to use and hold a piece in a frame very well. They can also be easily removed if desired. The easiest way I've found to insert them is with a putty knife (instead of a screw driver).

These glazier points are perfect to reframe thrift store art. I haven't had any trouble pushing these into wood frames with a flat head screwdriver.

You'll need to press these in with a narrow taping knife... A spackle knife will do. A flat blade screwdriver is simply too narrow.Don't use your hands. Ouch.Double as caltrops, so be careful not to spill them on the carpet. They're pretty simple things. They don't bend on you. Press in easy enough (with the right tool).I'd buy them again. Really hoping I won't need to though. Glazing windows isn't exactly a fun time for me.

These work well, but for a picture frame that is of hardwood, you'll need a flat-head screwdriver to push them into the frame with.
