I ordered this Dust Collector Bag from Pokin for my Harbor Freight (Central Machinery) dust collector. The original filter bag has developed a few small tears in the fabric after many years of service, so it was definitely time for a replacement. I carefully reviewed the dimensions of the bag in the product ad and compared it to the dimensions of my original bag that I measured and the specs seemed "close enough" to me to warrant giving it a try.I have to say that I was thoroughly impressed with the new bag when it arrived. It is MUCH heavier-duty than the original it is replacing. The material it's made of is quite a bit thicker. Another thing that I appreciate regarding the new bag's construction is the fact that it uses loops to hold the belt that that fastens the bag to the body of the collector. My old bag had a continuous pocket which was fine when I had the metal tightening belt, but when the metal belt broke and I had to replace it with a fabric mesh belt it was a pain to thread it all the way through from one end to the other.I think that the diameter of the new bag is a little bit larger than the original, but it doesn't seem to be causing an issue. The only thin is that the loop that's sewn into the top of the bag that hooks to a hanger and keeps the bag suspended when the machine is off doesn't quite reach the hanger. That isn't a problem, however, since the fabric is so thick it continues to stand up on its own even when the machine is off and the bag deflates. Should it ever relax with time and lose its form to the extent that it does drop when the machine is turned off, I'll just tie the loop to the hanger with a piece of wire and the problem will be solved. This is a very nice quality item. I'm very glad that I got one!

The 1 micron filter bag is definitely thicker and heavier than the 5 micron bag that came originally with my Harbor Freight. It fit just fine. The problem was that the suction was reduced significantly to the point of being ineffective. I don't feel I can return it since it was mounted and run. Next step for me is to launder the old bag. If that doesn't work I'll order a 5 micron bag from HF. Would probably be ok for a more powerful dust collector.Update -- discovered I had an obstruction that caused the reduced airflow. I haven't reinstalled so I don't know how it works.

Very well made and stitched to keep dust inLooking for a great improvement on the fine dust cleanup as mine is old and old technology.I may opt for a pleated container type filter on top and ise this on the bottom but as for now, it will be the plastic bag on bottom and this on top after I order one more as mine is a 220v dual bagging setup (4 capture bags).Very pleased and looking forward to not using the old metal band straps mone came with originally.What a great way to improve your setuo and save money as wellBuy it and try it!
