For a while now, I’ve been needing to bolt a chain directly to engine blocks or heads. It’s doable, but not easy sometimes.I already have a larger/heavier variation of these mounts and have had nothing but good luck with them. I needed something a bit smaller for those smaller engines.The loops on these mounts use 1/4” steel and have a larger opening. The weld on one of the loops isn’t welded straight, but still solid and won’t affect its overall strength. The flange though is BEEFY at 10mm thick. There’s no chance of even bending it.
