You have to use a thin screwdriver to pry open one end, which you'll then press onto a spoke. Otherwise, the opening is much smaller than the diameter of the spoke, and it won't go on.The reflective quality is excellent, and the product is durable and stays put. Recommend to all!

On a bike spoke they fit very tight. No room for movement or sliding but on my shopping cart. It’s way too small for the bars on my shopping cart. Which I originally bought it for

A little tough to attach to the spokes but they do not come off and, are extremely visible in low and high intensity light.
