Detailed Installation Steps
Step 1: Detach the door panel
Step 2: Loosen the bolts and screws for the regulator and window glass. Raise the glass window and secure it with tape
Step 3: Take out the old regulator and motor
Step 4: Install the new regulator in the same position
Step 5: Reinstall all the bolts and screws
Step 6: Tighten the screws with the wrench
Step 7: Connect the wires to the window motor
Step 8: Lower the glass window to the new regulator and tigthen the mounting hardwares. Put back the plastic liner and door panel
Step 9: Test if the regulator functions good

I tried repairing my lift mechanism, but a slight kink in the cable meant I had to do the job twice.I wish I had bought this replacement the first time around.It's much easier than messing with individual parts, and far cheaper than a service shop.This fit my 2013 Chevy Volt driver door just fine, and adjustment was simple.It has been working well for months.Use silicone spray on all the window slides in your car to stave off the next failure.

I live in Arizona, very hot here, all the time(mostly)! I’m only saying that to drive the fact that I rarely open my window. AC is on all the time. I probably roll this window up and down maybe a dozen times since I put it in and Bam, Fall down go boooom!! I have not found a way to get a hold of the seller for any warranty info. So if you just wanna fix it so you can sell your car this one is OK. But if you live somewhere where it rains or it gets really cold and snows, don’t get this one you’ll regret it.

The 2 pin connector does not work with the factory GM 2 pin connector. Motor is so weak it can barely lift the window fully. Yes the window is aligned correctly in the frame and weatherstripping.

Great inexpensive replacement for a window not working. Fairly easy install. Had to get 2 bolts for the bottom as my old one had studs with nuts instead of bolts. Luckily I had some laying around.
