This is not a heavy-duty poncho. It is about as thick and useful as a garbage bag. I do not think that you could use it more than one time. It really is a piece of junk.

This came with a tear at the neck so I don't think it will be useful on her camping trip. Very cheap. Would not recommend.

This was advertised as a heavy duty rain pancho. It is NOT. I doubt it will work for more than one use before it rips apart. This is more like the cheap .99 cent store panchos. I expected better.

This poncho is definitely NOT heavy duty. It's a thin piece of plastic like the material used for cheap garbage bags. It rips apart easily and can be used at most once. Would probably be an okay buy at $1.
