Includes the camshaft, both tappets, crankcase gasket, and the valve cover gasket. It even has the crankshaft seal for the flywheel end and the crankshaft seal for the PTO (pulley) end.Like so many single cylinder Briggs engines, my mower would not spin over even though the battery and starter were good. Failure of the decompression mechanism on the camshaft is a common theme with these engines. The only way to repair the faulty decompression mechanism is to replace the camshaft. There are several youtube tutorials out there to take you through the installation. There are zero instructions in the box. This is normal for internal engine parts.The gaskets are all rolled up in a nice wad to fit inside the camshaft box. At least they were not creased. The gaskets should be flat to make installation go smoothly. I unrolled the gaskets and placed them under my doormat overnight and the gaskets were good and flat.Installation went as it should. Everything fit properly. After I torqued the bolts and adjusted the valves to MFR Specs, the decompression problem was fixed. The engine now starts and runs like it should.This is not an easy repair. You need to be handy with tools and have a little bit of confidence and patience to do this job. This camshaft kit has the correct parts to do the job.

These cam shafts break quite a bit. This is a nice kit because it comes with the sump gasket. I dropped the rating a bit because it was just jammed in a tiny box. Sump gasket was creased pretty heavily in quite a few places. I wasn't willing to chance using it so I used one that I had from a prior replacement.
