A fun lens for times when you want your cameras to be low profile and you don’t really want to bother with focusing.

Macht mir Laune! Die Mischung machts.

Lens fell apart immediately, making it pretty much not usable. Was excited to try it out since the size is amazing. When I held it together I was able to get a couple neat shots.Unfortunately, will be going back.

For the price it's a great novelty to take pictures with a "disposable camera" vibe. Be careful to make sure the flathead set screw on the moving part of the lens is tight. If it isn't, it's fairly easy to twist that part of the lens off of the mounting bracket. It's not too hard to put back together since there aren't many elements, but it is a finicky process.

I've only used it once so far. Still learning the Fujifilm xt200, so trying this lens was different. Cool shots, though. I'm like it

I bought this thinking it would be a lightweight “creative” lens that I could carry around on the cheap. I thought it would be really soft but good for walking around lightweight. The lens is sharper then I expected. I did have to adjust the focus a bit depending on the shot but overall I was surprised by the quality of the shots taken with my x-t5. There is some vignetting, which I don’t mind, but distortion seems well controlled. These shots are HEIF straight out of camera except the pigeons which was cropped and converted to b&w with Apple photos noir filter.

Although I’d anticipated this updated version of the lens, it turned out to be little more than a dubious idea. When successfully focused, the center of the image is sharp, but this gradually softens toward te edges and corners. Vignetting is pronounced, as is field curvature (although barrel distortion is not bad). The colors that this lens produces are somewhat muted; even bland; lacking contrast that would make them sharper. Significant focus breathing. To some people, the look of photos taken by analog point-and-shoots might seem cool, but I’d graduated from such cameras long ago. I’d wanted to like this lens, but it wouldn’t let me.

Great image quality in a small package. Set camera to Auto shutter speed, ISO to 400, focus to Infinity, and you are good to go for an outdoors jaunt. f:6.3 is a tad small for indoors - but could be usable.People do not pay attention to the combo (mine's on a Fuji X-E3), so you are pretty much free to shoot away unquestioned. Depth of field for an effective 28mm lens is no issue at this f:stop.I have prints to 13" x 19" from this lens with no noticeable lack of quality. Highly recommended.

I bought this as an anniversary present for my classic X-E1, to make a pocketable second rig to take to events such as races and car shows. Wide enough for close shots of horses, race cars and vintage bikes, this inconspicuous little lens is effective for discreet street photography as well. Buy a pricey prime if you want great sharpness, but this f6.3 lens used at 1/500th sec in good light is quite enough for me.Just for fun, I added a 10mm closeup tube to see what might be possible. Cropped and lightly edited samples supplied for you to judge; could this be just right for you? Rated 5 stars for meeting all claimed criteria, great price, plus prompt delivery. Recommended.

Really supremely happy with this lens. Wasn’t sure what to expect but I put it on my xt30ii and was pleasantly surprised by the results. It’s pretty sharp in the center looks great when shooting black and white and makes the camera super convenient and pocketable. I’m definitely taking it with me more places since it’s so convenient.

I had low expectations and was prepared to see them realized. What I wasn't prepared for is that my camera read it as F0 and, understandably, wouldn't open the shutter. Defect? Or just me? Anyway, back it goes. Was worth a shot. Your experience may differ.
