We are using these to check the public pool prior to jumping in. Can never be too careful. They work great, and easy to use. Just store them appropriately.

Test strips are definitely easier to use. I validated the test strips with a standard test kit that uses chemicals, the results were identical.The test strips were cheaper than the NAME BRAND pool store. This kit was also the best price at time of purchase.

We have an above ground pool and this year was the first time we opened it after moving. It all started with all dark water with lots of algae and took about a week to clean it. At each step we needed to make sure the water has anough chlorine to be able to go to next step. These strips come in handy as you just dip it in for less than 5 seconds and it will show you the result of the various important parameters of the water. We have been using it regularly to check the status of the water and it is really helping to identify what is not balanced and help us take action accordingly. Definitely a recommend for the price and the number of strips in the box.

Completely ineffective! I tried these in pool water, distilled water, fish tank water and tap water and every result was the same, nothing. This is either a defective batch or a terrible product.
