I have several triangle squares, but this is the best. The quality is excellent and the markings are crystal clear for reading and easy to use. The detachable ruler has several uses as well, you can set for measuring off the edge as well as just a ruler (great add on). Bottom line is must have for the price!

I often use speed squares for not only framing, but cutting LVP flooring. I was a little disappointed when the overall length of this square didn’t come to the end of my 7” flooring planks to make a straight cut. I was able to use this to find some angles of a roof pitch while framing. I just don’t find myself reaching for this tool as often as I hoped I when I ordered it. Not getting much use, I generally reach for a standard 7” square. I can’t exactly figure out how this thing is supposed to be used. The aluminum top brace is solid and locks to the square but seems to be clunky and get in the way. The square seems to be very accurate but doesn’t have the versatility I wanted from it.

Nicely made. Comfortable to use. Seems to be accurate and incorporates many useful features. It is far better than the cast varieties of squares.

Wasn't what I was looking for in a speed square.

They really crammed a lot of features into this rafting square. You can measure hex nuts or bolts by fitting them in one of the fastener openings. You can use it to measure the depth by sliding out the stainless steel rule from the orange base. You can measure angles by rotating that same rule from its base. Draw a circle by inserting a pivot point and then draw like you would use a compass. There's a level, a standard rule and a simple protractor. And naturally there's a speed square in case you need to make a quick cut. There's so many useful features that I keep it in the garage, and because it's made from an aluminum alloy, it won't rust. All this for a pretty low price, and it's better than anything that I've seen in a local store. I'm pretty happy with it.
