I used it for the center panel in this figure skating costume, and cut it in half lengthwise, and dyed it black for the ruffle. It was just right for this project. The color was a perfect deep, true red and it took the black dye well.

This lace was of fairly good quality. I wouldn't be embarrassed making anything from it and actually showing it off. It's very easy to use, it doesn't fray and it was easy to sew with a machine. It could be a little softer, but that's personal opion. I've definitely felt cheaper fabric, but I've also seen much better fabric of the same kind.
