I wish I knew these existed years ago. My son and hubby are avid fishermen and the amount of items that got hooked while we were traveling to go fishing was completely ridiculous. These are easy to store and lay flat when not in use but when it is wrapped around a lure it is great protecting. It has a covering in side the holder so the hook will not punch through the fabric. It is super easy to used, you just need to Velcro the cover around the lure.

After an ugly incident where my brother-in-laws dog got a hook caught in his nose while on his boat, I knew I had to have these. These work by wrapping it around the lure while it is still attached to the rod, and securing it with the hook and loop tabs. Couldn't be much easier. I've been hooked accidently, but with these at least I have a fighting chance of keeping hooks out of my fingers. And since these came in a package of 8, I can give some to my brother-in-law and still have some for my use.
