I am not sure I’d describe these as heavy duty. They are medium in my opinion. They feel heavier than some of the pergola pieces i’ve seen at big box stores.Suitable for a lot of DIY projects. For my outdoor project these are perfect. I’m making a seating area at the end of my shop and I want to cover it. It doesn’t need to hold a lot of snow or weight. I also like that I don’t need to make cuts to use these.
