It's just a good idea to secure your furniture, even if you don't have kids. Even when my kids were older, I still secured my furniture. It makes my bookcases straight, I don't have to worry about the wobbly cabinet on the unlevel floor (use shims too if needed), none of my heavy furniture is going to move. Now I have a grandchild, so I needed to make sure the smaller pieces were anchored, and these work perfect. No instructions, so do come back to this or take a pic of the instructions in the product description. I made sure everything was clean and gave it all a good wipe with some rubbing alcohol before attaching the adhesive. I used a plastic scrapper to be sure I got out all the bubbles, then left it for 24 hours before coming back and finishing it all off. Great kit.

I bought these furniture anchors to prevent my niece from moving the furniture in her room. I have watched many videos to know that is is important to secure furniture, considering the fact that we both work and sometimes she is playing in her room by herself for short time. This is a great kit to help keeping the furniture in place. The anchors came in a package with kits, kit includes adhesive strips, screws for the furniture, and screws and drywall anchors for the wall. It was easy to install without damaging the furniture and things appeared to be in place. I recommend this to families with kids.

These furniture anchors feel strong and well made. Easy to install and you have to install options. You can drill hikes into the wall, like most anchors, or you can use the adhesive. To keep a large bookcase from tipping over I still drilled holes, but for smaller items I would trust the adhesive. Nice option to keep your babies safe. $20 for an 8bpack seems like a fair price for the quality.

I got this set of 8 furniture anchors to keep my kiddo from rearranging his furniture across a smooth wooden floor. His furniture isn't at risk of tipping, but he can push and pull it all over his room to climb places he shouldn't be (including up and over his safety gate). I didn't like the idea of having to drill into his nice furniture and floors or walls in order to keep things stationary, so I wanted to see how well the sticky pads functioned. This kit also comes with short screws for the furniture and longer screws with drywall anchors for the wall, in case you want something a bit more permanent than adhesive strips.NOTE: my kit came with no instructions, but it's pretty easy to just figure out. I am guessing the sticky pads need a cure time of 24 hours before heavy use like most other adhesive strips, but there was nothing stating this as a fact in the kit. I first attached my pads to the brackets using the bolts, then I removed the pad's backing and attached the pads/brackets to the furniture and floor. I did it this way so I wouldn't have to carefully mark exactly where each of the pads would need to go, or risk them not aligning with the bracket holes after I adhered them.Instead of putting these on the furniture and walls, I have put mine on the furniture and floors to better aid in keeping the darn stuff where it should be, and because the black brackets really stand out in a more pastel nursery. So far these work great. The sticky pads use small bolts and nuts to attach to the safety brackets, and they are super sticky. Just make sure you prep the furniture/floor/wall surfaces first with some alcohol wipes or grease cleaner to make sure all the oils are off first. It was impossible to let my adhesive strips cure properly (24 hours) before he tried to move everything around, but they were still holding on as of bedtime.I used 3 brackets on two of his free standing shelves (one on each side and one on the front), and the last 2 were used on a shelf in the corner (added to the front and free side of the shelf) in order to prevent future furniture ice capades. I have no idea how well these sticky pads will remove when it's time, and I hope they don't take the finish off the floor and shelves with them, but for now I appreciate the stuck-ness.The brackets are a thick metal and rounded, so no corners to catch things or scratch you. These brackets definitely won't bend or fail if you have a stronger than average furniture mover, they are very solid. I just wish this set was also made in white, I'd get those in a heart beat.

These are heavy duty anti-tip brackets. We've only installed a couple of them, but they are really incredible. These are really strong because they are made from one piece of stainless steel. We've drilled ours, but apparently they can be installed with the included adhesive anchors to use with the brackets. I wasn't sure how those would work, so we went with drilling. The anti-tip anchors bring a huge piece of mind. I'll likely be purchasing more to use throughout our home.

I bought these to secure some ikea cabinets to studs. Comparing them to the brackets include with other ikea cabinets, these are very sturdy and don’t have any flexibility compared to the ikea ones. Once secured, the cabinets barely move when shaken.
