I have a tendency to lose heatset insert adapters, so the case included with this set was much appreciated! This set fit my standard soldering iron well as well as M3 and M4 inserts. It did the job nicely and have held up to multiple uses just fine.

I was using just the standard soldering iron tip to insert the thread inserts to 3d printed functional models.This tool is a great way to do the work in a cleaner fashion. The main thread arm fits in place of the soldering iron tip, and you can swap the different sizes without disassembling the iron tip again.Since the knurled insert sits flush in the tool, the melted plastic doesn't fill into the bottom of the cavity, and since there is no wobble between the tool and the insert, its easier to insert flush and straight.Overall, a good investment in a tool if you use these inserts fairly regularly.

For some reason the product photo had me thinking this was a much larger set than it is. I also accidentally didn't realize that these are insert *tools* and not actual inserts. However, that's on me.I haven't had occasion to use this yet, but the parts seem to be of very good quality and I'm confident they will work when I do a project with heat inserts. I just have to make sure I keep track of the tiny box. I'm excited to use them soon.

These soldering tips are of great quality. They fit my printer perfectly, they were easy to install and easy to use. They look good and function well. Worth having for back ups as well

Got this to replace the tip that came with a insert tool. That tool was missing an m 2.5 insert, so I grabbed this one, thinking I'd just replace the tip.As it turns out, THAT previous tool had a female adapter, and male tips. This one is the opposite. Keep that in mind when purchasing, if you want compatibility. So, I've used this one, now, with that tool.. for about 400 inserts now (yesterday was kind of a long day.. inserting 400 of the things on my back patio.. lol) and I've had no issues with the tips. I used the 2, 2.5, 3, and 4 yesterday.. and used the M8 a few days ago.Even heat spread, means these tips work perfectly. With the current price of $8.99 and a 20% off coupon on top of that, this makes it about as inexpensive as you can get.. so it's a great deal.Strongly recommended :)

I like these heat set tips. it fits my soldering iron well. and the tips are easy to change. I like that you can change the tips w/o having to remove the hot end cover like some of the other ones. The ends fit my inserts well and the threads on the hot end seem to engage well.

This came in a really small box, but it seems to fit all the tips perfectly. Usually I have issues putting items back into packing that's undersized but this worked well. The tips are a good quality and I'm excited to start using these.
