🟢Universal Work Holder also known as the Peg Clamp has four movable pins that accommodate large and small items during the repair. Hand-held work holder with 4 pins to hold the item in position for Engraving, Carving, Setting, and Repair.
🟢The Clamp Work surface has multiple positioning segments with holes for pins that can be positioned to hold parts. The clamp opens by simply turning the knurled side screw head, with a maximum opening of 5/8" -15.82mm. The clamp opening segment has two guide pins to provide support.
🟢Note: This Peg Clamp has metal tightening knurled knob, and comes with a total of 8 pins, very well made.
🟢Peg Clamp is made of Aluminum and is fastened to a wooden handle with a threaded screw. The work holder can be removed from the handle to use in a vise. (As Pictured).

I bought it for the "pins", and as a handheld vice it feels sturdy. Is it supposed to screw 'backwards'tho...? To open the clamp you ?tighten? the screw...? Weird. Anyway the vice clamps aren't aligned evenly either so i'll use this on stuff that needs 'pinned' laterally only i guess? Honestly don't even know if i got a "bad" one or not. But this things sturdy as heck and the mechanisms all move smoothly so this is kindof a bummer

Remove the handle- attach to a heavy ball and you have a jeweler's vise.
