I kept on looking for a disk plate in stores and found it on Amazon. I was not sure if this will be good. Not only it is good, but I am not even planning on replacing it. This will last for a life time. High quality steel. The holes are the right size.

Purchased this plate as finding original accessories for my vintage hand grinder from Porkert are difficult to find or quite pricey. This plate worked well and the pass through holes produced a grind that I was looking for. The holes are just a minuscule shy of 5/16” diameter or 8mm as stamped on the sidewall. It’s about 0.311” and all relative. The auger stem rode well in the center hole. The notch had some slop but retained within body and not spin within itself. Hopefully with proper care, it will last a long time.

Quality manufacturing is evident when you touch this plate, beveled outer edge, sharp edges of the inner holes, clear size markings. Will be used for making certain types of homemade sausage!

Look mass produced in low quality. No numbers were etched on the side for sizing and some burring was still on mine where the side notch was made. Hope they don't rust.

This was a final desperate buy to find a #8 that would fit the middle bolt. I had purchased 3 previous plates that fit except for the middle hole. (have you tried drilling stainless steel? dont)Do yourself a favor, Order this one & be done with it, fit NICE & SNUG. : )
