Works good for holding plants. I use it in the garden quite often and it does have a nice thick rubber coating. It's easy to use once you transfer to a better spool or put something on the ends of the spool so it doesn't come unraveled. I use it in the garden all the time. Great deal!

Haven't tried the clips at all. But the wire is good. Last night we had 50+ mph winds. I expected to arrive at home to find my 9ft tall sunflower in tatters. The pole was bent, but the flower was saved.

This is so durable and easy to cut through. It's coated with a thicker smooth vinyl material that ensures your plants don't get damaged. This has so far been my favorite tomato tying material. It's worth every cent.

This works great for training plants and the coating is soft enough where it won't do any damage. Minus one star for the spool. It doesn't hold the wire on so it sort of goes wherever as it falls off the ends. Not a deal breaker but a minor inconvenience.
