These socks will save time and money as they cleaning the skimmer simpler. While these filters are thinner than the ones o had gotten from the pool stores. They are more convenient and less expensive. They can be cleaned and reused but in the case where the grandkids are helping me, they can just trash the sock. For the cost of the filter I’m happy to see the girls head to the trash can instead of messing with a dirty filter containing lice bees or other insects.

If you're like me, you know how frustrating it is to clean a skimmer out without one of these awesome things in there. It has saved me so much time and sweat and I will never not have these on hand ever again. The mesh is made with very lightweight high quality material and you can stretch it as much as you want and it will never tear. They fit almost any skimmer size because of their elasticity and the material almost feels like cotton, not sure what it is but they literally pick up even the smallest particles to keep them from getting to your filter. We've had about 7 parties this summer and not once have we had to clean the filter because these things literally get everything!

I got these to help keep my filter clean and postpone the necessary cleaning.They work like a charm! This summer there was a lot of bugs and pollen in the air. Putting one of these socks in the outflow basket kept all this out of the filter. They are so inexpensive you can change them once or twice a week.

These socks are great for skimmer baskets, and I use them in my pool for that very purpose, but they also have other uses, too. I like to use them for my handheld pool vacuum. I nest two of these socks inside the silt bag for my pool vac and this adds a little extra filtering for my clean up. I toss them when I’m done. Quick and easy. Will continue to purchase these!

So I recently decided to take care of my pool on my own. Which has been a nightmare because I have a 33000 gal pool. Let me tell you I knew nothing about pools!! I decided to buy these for the skimmer because i have tiny debris from neighboring trees and pebble rocks from the deck that get sucked in to skimmer from time to time. These have saved me money, time and frustration! They capture all of the tiny debris. I have been able to rinse them and use them once before replacing. Also this is the best price I have found for them. I will say when u treat the pool with chemicals I take mine off and run it for awhile because it literally catches everything!

They're a little tricky to get onto my skimmer basket... I have to line the inside... tried putting it on the outside first... and the suction pulled the sock off through the pipes!! I get so much pollen, little bugs, debris, small leaves, etc in the pool. These little socks save my sand filter from so much extra stuff! I wish I knew about them years earlier! Plus, they are easy to change and keep me from having to pick out the debris from the basket or have to avoid the inevitable spiders... just judiciously pull the sock off and toss it in the trash.

I received filter, socks promptly, they do fit the strainer, but they are very tight and not as deep as I had originally thought.They seem to work well, and are easy to remove and throw away especially at this time of the year, where there are large amount of pollen in the air.I really like the fact that they are in a dispenser where you can pull up one filter at a time kind of like a Kleenex box

I'm not sure why I never knew about these in the first place, but I'm glad I do now! These are made great! Not chintzy and hold up really well. Keeps my pool extra clean!!
