Would not expect this to light up my whole back yard! It is nice that it always stays in %30 mode unless there is a movement. It is also great for my puppy who has a dog door so he can see what is going on in the back yard instead of barking on every little noise that coming from back of the house. And also price is very acceptable based of the lighting that it provides. The amazing thing is it came with spare remote control!!!

This is a nice solar light that's super bright. The solar panel works nicely to charge up the battery and we've found the battery lasts all night. It turns on automatically at dusk and the brightness is adjustable with the remote control. Motion detection works well, and it can be configured to mid brightness during normal operation and then full brightness when motion is detected. It's solid and well made, so that means it's also a little heavy during installation. Additional hands would make it much easier to lift up high into the air. Definitely recommend this light.

Installing this solar street light was easy—no wiring, no complications, just a straightforward setup. The quality of this item is really great. But it is BIG! It puts off a lot of light, but it is BIG.The physical size is the reason I'm docking this one star, because I think this light is SO big a strong wind could tear it off a building structure. It's so well-built I don't think it would be broken -- I think it would take the siding with it. That's how seriously big an sturdy this light is.I think the best applications for this light would be mounting it on a pole or mounting it on a building or barn on a side that was sheltered from the wind -- maybe a nearby shelterbelt or on the side of a building that doesn't get much wind. It would be PERFECT for those applications.Installation is straightforward, but I strongly suggest this is a two-person job. I think anytime you're on a ladder trying to secure something in place, an extra set of hands is helpful. In this case, it's really a "must" to have a second person working with you, since the light is not small and you will need someone to hold things in place while you work.What drew our attention to this light was the fact that it's solar, so we didn't have to run power lines to the installation point. We really just wanted a motion light that would light one side of our garage that lacks some of the security features we have elsewhere. The fact that this is solar was perfect, and I think this light will last a good long time -- It's *solid.* However, we eventually decided this wasn't the right application for us in this case. We have a vacation home where we are going to use it instead; it will light a backyard area that gets plenty of sun but is sheltered from the wind.I have to confess that I didn't fully comprehend the dimensions when I was ordering, and I was expecting a light that was about half the physical size of this one. That is my fault and is not a reflection of the product. But I do want people to know that this is a large light, and that information may not be fully conveyed in the listing -- please look at the dimensions carefully and consider your application. If it fits, you've got a GREAT solution in this light. Just don't make my mistake and think it will be subtle. It's great quality, but it's not subtle.

This is a great light with a huge coverage area. The only drawback is that the remote is infrared, not RF. It must have a direct line of site to the light for it to work.Definitely RECOMMEND this light.(Back fence in picture is 100-feet away from the light and the lot is 75-feet wide.)

The light are huge and put out great amounts of lights! It’s settings are easy to choose different modes.The light work all night and recharge next days,never missed brightness.It’s installation is easy ,work great! Recommend!

This outdoor light is incredibly easy to install. It activates automatically with motion detection at dusk, so if it doesn’t turn on right away during the day, just wait until dark to test it. It provides the perfect amount of illumination for our needs without being overly harsh. I love the option to set it for motion detection, and the included remote makes it easy to control!
