After waiting so long for these to be brought back on here for sale, such a disappointment. Either they have a massive screw up and used the wrong LEDs, or they pulled a bait and switch. What a waste of money, these are even UV black lights - just blueish LEDs. They claim to be at a wavelength of 385-400nm (which should be purple in color - like most of the black lights that people are used to), but clearly aren't. I tried various UV reactive items to see how well these worked, and nothing reacted to them at all.

We used these on our parade float and they were good. Not very bright so I didny glow when I got close to them. However, when combined with florescent tye raps and over head, overfill black lights, it was great.

could have been brighter, did little to make florescent colors pop. but seemed pretty good quality.

They have more of a blue hue than a purple hue for the blacklight.... the blacklight isn't as bright as I hoped

Two years later and still going strong! I'm known as the purple lady bc of these lights lolI have them plugged in outside with a timer that is bt managed. They're awesome! The ending lights, maybe 10 at the very end are weak and some out completely. Probably due to rain or dirt in the end. Doesn't bother me since that's the very end and no one can see it wrapped up around that post. The other 80 feet are still functioning.I got this because we have small scorpions, rattlesnakes and I'm not sure yet, but don't wanna find out after I'm bitten.So far this 80 foot light has been amazing! I wrapped it around the front tongue, but think I'm going to undo that and fully wrap it around the underside of my rv. It is blue like a few days, but it does settle into purple. It can be seen from 100 or more feet away, especially when the street light isn't on. I got this used, had a gift card, total out of pocket was seven dollars. Amazing! I would buy another from this brand for the awning and the inside, even if I had to pay full price.Good stuff. Sturdy, straight plug in. I'm debating cutting the plug and wiring it into my patio light, for now I just plug it in to the outside outlet.
