Perfect fit for my Cobra pistol crossbow. I bought three because, at this price, it was clear that they probably wouldn’t last forever. Restring was easy enough.

The ad I ordered from said 80. lb crossbow strings, the "S" makes it plural which would indicate more then 1 yet they never out right claimed there would be more than 1 and there was not. The string they did send is about average for this type of crossbow, you always need to touch up the ends with a tiny amount of glue to keep them from unraveling, a well made string shouldn't need touched up before its installed in my opinion but ive learnd its just a good idea to always do so.

I received this string quick and it was perfect. The string comes pre-waxed already which is a big plus, it has a large serving that is durable, the quality of the construction was second to none I've shot it around 20 times already and no signs of fraying, or wear. The only thing though is that the loops are quite small so it made a little harder to string the bow, but at the same time your string is sure not to fly off. Great string, more expensive than other strings, but the quality is better than other ones.

I CAN TELL YA THIS MUCH , AS FAR AS THE QUALITY OF THIS PRODUCT FOR WHAT IT COST ... GREAT BUY AND I HAVE SHOT MY CROSSBOW AT LEAST 50 TIMES ON THE SAME STRING AND ITS STARTING TO UNRAVEL NOW BUT STILL WORKING AND HASNT BROKE YET.. SO I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT TO BUY AND ALSO COMPANY SHIPPED IT RIGHT OUT AND EVEN RECIEVED IT EARLIER THAN EXPECTED.. GREAT JOB AND PRODUCT BY THE COMPANY WHO HANDLED MY ORDER !

Dont let the Chinese packaging fool you. I know poorly colored camouflage cardboard packaging with text on it looks like something a kid would design in Word, but the Chinese suck at pirating Adobe products. They can however wrap string up really nice. If an American designed the packaging for this and sold it in an American store it would likely go for $20 or so. Really this is a quality piece of string. If your looking at this product you probably just need it and dont have any other choices anyhow.

This is a great little pistol bow, but I would not consider it to be a toy and recommend adult supervision for minor users. It carries a powerful punch, enough to be able to use for small game hunting. The bow is easily cocked and performs great. Since it is quite powerful for what it is, you have to purchase quality bolts to go with it or you will get one use from each bolt. The bow travels fast and breaks the bolts if they are of bad quality.

A solid product on par with factory string I was using. These are not perfect and will wear, but at this price just get two. These are for a 80 lb PISTOL CROSSBOW.*Also, stringing can be made easier by using a suitably strong but thin slave string tied firmly and drawn tightly to the bow (2 strands 20 lb hemp worked for me). Then cock bow as usual and install real string. there will be strands of slave string left under real string, but trim them down and you'll be good to go.*

The replacement string for my Cobra Crossbow pistol broke 2 strands on the first shot. I will not be buying more. Instead I plan on trying to make a string out of thin wire rope from the hardware store. It should last and be much less expensive.Correction: I made but never got to try the wire rope string. I forgot to put the end tabs on before the wire and when I tried to string it using a vice on only the tip. I bent the end and the fiberglass seperated. Entirely my own fault. I ended up getting a second Cobra and found trhat the finish work on this one was hugely better. After seing then new one I realized that the top of the cocking mechanism (gold part) on the old one was raised and that was what was cutting the string. No such problem with the new one. If you get one I would look it over carefully and file down any parts that extend upward that the string rubs on. Also, I read a review wher it was advised to wrap the string on each end and both sides of the middle where the string is wrapped (end loops and arrow rest in middle) with thick thread and secure it with super glue. That keeps the wrapping from unraveling.
