This 40-quart stainless steel seafood boil pot heats up quickly, is easy to clean, and stays shiny after use. While it’s lightweight and convenient, the lid feels a bit too loose, and a hook-style handle for the basket would make it even better. The included strainer basket makes draining seafood simple, and the pot works well for large boils. Overall, it’s a great value for the price and looks good in any outdoor cooking setup!

So this comes in various sizes. I got the 26qt version. It works fine for shrimp/crab/crawfish and maybe small lobster. Don't buy this one thinking that you're going to fry a turkey in it though!

I ordered the 40 quart (10 gallon) pot. It is nowhere near 40 quarts. Here are pictures of it next to my actual 10 gallon pot. You can see that if they were the same diameter it could hold 8 3/4 gallons at the most. But they’re not the same diameter. The diameter of this pot is smaller than the 10 gallons pot, in addition to being shorter. So it would probably hold no more than about 8 gallons. That’s 32 quarts. There’s no kind of rounding that would allow you to call that 40 quarts. It’s just a pure lie. So I did not get what I paid for.

We just used it for the first time doing a 20# crab cook for dinner and it was perfect!If I had one minor adjustment I’d say add a hook style handle to pull the basket easier but I’m still going with 5 stars as the rest of it is fantastic.I would purchase this one again if I needed one.
