Your cart is empty.Size Details:vinyl siding mounting blocks Size 6.9 Inch W X 10.2 Inch H. For 1/2" lap siding double 4". Please check the size data in the picture. If you find that your outdoor light mounting block is not suitable, it doesn't matter. You can placed some caulking and then painted the blocks and molding. You will need to caulk around the top of the box to prevent water from infiltrating the electrical box.

This item is supposed to be white but it is slightly off white so it doesn’t really match with white trim, and within a very short time of installing it, it has turned VERY yellow!

If you need to mount lights or other exterior devices (like security cameras, et) this block is the right choice. In addition, the price is much better than the big box home supply centers. It is well made and fits perfectly on my vinyl siding. I had this hard styrofoam block with a metal junction box that had deteriorated after years in use and I didn’t want to paint anymore. The block was also a standard octagon shape (not elongated Ike this one) that didn’t quite allow the light to sit properly on the block. This one is the perfect size and shape for my light. I really like the fact that the junction box is molded into the mounting block, making it a one step installation. This elongated longer base fits my new “lantern” style light better and gives me a more stable mounting plate. The mounting block is easy to install, fits perfectly on my vinyl siding and is a good value. Looks great fits great, what more can you ask for..

I ordered the 8141DBL Siding Mounting Kit, Outdoor Light Mounting Block Plate for 1/2 inch Lap Double and 4-Inch Siding by CHANG TA.This is exactly what I needed to correctly mount my porch light on the siding of my home. It comes with all mounting materials, and all the access holes necessary to pull my wires, affix my lamp, and connect my ground properly. It looks great and is built solid. It does exactly what I needed it to do.I may need a couple more for my two outdoor garage lights next.

I needed a means to mount an external porch light to vinyl siding. This block fit the bill perfectly. I was able to mount it securely to the house, and then securely mount the new light fixture to the box. I painted it to match the color of the siding. It is strong, firm, well made and a great block for mounting to vinyl siding.

Well this is extremely well made and really sturdy, it beats out other big box stores product. I would have given it a 5 stars but this is supposed to be white but it is closer to a very light grey it works well for me since my house siding is grey.EASY Instal I used it to mount my EV charger to the house.. Excellent product for the price cheaper than the less sturdy ones.
