When installed

1. With the awning extended, insert a small flathead screwdriver into the gap between the back and front of the clip. Pry open the back and remove the slider clip.

Step 2. Insert the new slider clip into the hole on the main arm from the front. Place the spring between the back of the slider clip and the main arm Snap the back of the slider clip into the front piece, being careful not to let the spring out.

Correct Installation Steps

Perfect fit. Exactly what I was looking for. Easy to install. A bit of a trick is a use a little bit of Scotch tape to hold the spring and location as you sit piece together. Once installed, it worked exactly is supposed to. Built to be exactly like the original.
