The only part that did not fit, was the oil pump shaft. The shaft that fits between the cam and the the oil pump gear. It was to big in diameter ,, and it did not fit the gear slot.. so i had to use the old one.. all the rest of the part are working ok. The price was ok for all the parts ,, Something to watch for ,,This cam shaft kit must be for a other model engine I got lucky i didn't need the oil pump shaft.

Good kit! only downside is that i could not use the new oilpump shaft but really not needed. the new one on the right in pics wasnt machined down to fit correctly. My engine runs great by using this kit!

the parts were good,the sump gasket was no good because they fold it up in a small box and when you open it up its all kinked and not be used so u need to have a seprate gasket on hand.

this product did fit and thought i was going to save money by not buying high priced Brigg&Stratton part. Now after only using it once a week for three months it is broken and am now back to square one. I have been trying to ask about warranty on this but have not been able to get support thus far

Have a Briggs and Stratton 17.5 hp John Deere D-100 Yard tractor with a 42" mower deck, was killing batteries and wouldn't start, pulled motor apart and decompression valve was broken ordered part arrived a day early. Replaced it with part it is running fine. Had to also change the governor also but motor is running strong again

My neighbor has a Craftsman riding lawn mower with a 21 HP Briggs & Stratton engine. She has had the mower for approximately 7 years. The mower is garage kept and has received very good care and proper maintenance. The compression release assembly that is attached to the camshaft broke. This compression release attachment/assembly releases a small amount of compression in order to help the engine to turn over fast enough to start. In order to save my neighbor some money, I installed a Karbay Camshaft assembly. The mower was used for about 8 hours and the spring loaded compression release attachment broke. It appears that the pin that holds the compression release assembly broke and came off the camshaft. The mower can't be started again.
