I replaced my old school basic mirror with this one and it has been so great! Super bright and was able to plug into wires in the wall so it could be turned on and off with the switch. Would highly recommend!

I wasn't sure if this would be an easy install or a pain - but I was quite pleased not only with the ease of hanging/installing it, but the size and the brightness of the lights. We have terrible lighting in our bathroom (project for later I'm sure) and so trying to do make-up or my husband to shave - just wasn't ideal, so this "extra" bit on the mirror definitely helps!

This is a very stylish looking mirror. The back lighting gives off a nice ambiance. It reminds me of a fancy hotel mirror I was in one time. It looks great in my powder room. Better than the oval mirror that the house came with. Installation was easy, mount the bracket with the included hardware and place the mirror on it. The cord is long enough and I like how it is angled for the outlet. The back light and the perimeter lights are adjustable in brightness and temperature. Which is real nice. The settings are also saved when you turn it off. That's pretty cool. I didn't get a chance to try the defogging feature, since it's not in a bathroom with a shower. But I suspect it'll work well. Great update to my half bath. And it was not that expensive. My friends complemented it at my Halloween party. I may have sold a few!

Points:+Imbedded touch controls for backlight, front parameter lighting, and defogger+Simplest mirror I’ve ever hung, hangs just like any wall mounted TV+The lighting colors really set the mood whether it’s bright for the mornings or red & dim for night+Very modern look when it’s switched off, even more so when it’s turned on+Anti fog feature is brilliant yet so simple, lay flat power cord, other smart choicesSummary:I never thought I would spend this amount of money on a bathroom mirror. So is it worth the price? I absolutely think so, I don’t think I’ll be able to ever go back to a standard mirror. It looks so modern, it improves the lighting of my bathroom, and the lighting settings really help with setting the tone for various parts of the day. I’m in love with this thing. What I liked most was the ability to adjust brightness and color. Turning on my bright LED ceiling lights when getting up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night tends to keep me awake. This thing allows me to set a dim reddish hue background light that keeps me feeling restful. I wasn’t sure about the touch controls at first for a humid bathroom but they’re incredibly responsive. The defogger feature is simply brilliant for steamy showers, it’s something I didn’t even know I would want. For balance the only thing I disliked was the included plastic molly bolts for hanging on drywall between studs. I tried two of these and they didn’t sit flush at all, a weak tug test demonstrated that they would easily pull right out of the wall, tightening them didn’t secure them in place whatsoever. It’s an odd contrast that such a nice mirror would come with such cheap drywall bolts. Fortunately for me I have plenty of good quality ones laying around. Other than than all you do to hang this is install two screws into a plate on either side, the mirror has a lip that you easily hang onto these plates just like a TV wall mount. This is easily the best mirror I’ve ever owned and the price does indeed reflect that. It is clearly made with quality in mind. It elevates my cramped little bathroom and allows me to set the mood throughout the day. I now feel spoiled having this in our cramped bathroom, I can’t ever go back. I couldn’t possibly recommend this mirror enough.

I was pleased with the packaging. The corner shock blocks and molded foam side pieces give the buyer a strong chance of receiving this mirror intact. All the fittings you require are provided, and I was pleased to see there was a three-pin plug. Even if you are going to wire the unit into your lighting circuit, few people do so immediately and the plug enables you to test everything at once, rather than putting the mirror aside, forgetting about it and then finding it does not work when you finally get round to installing it.I have reviewed mirrors which are both front lit and backlit before. The back lighting does not do a lot for me, but no doubt some find it invaluable. What I have not encountered before was separate buttons for the front lighting and back lighting. There are three buttons. One is anti-fog. One controls front lighting. One controls back lighting. You can independently use them to switch either on or off, change the color and with a long press, dim or brighten. I am going to wire mine into my lighting circuit as soon as possible, and this is why. This is the only mirror I know of which can take six clicks to turn it off, and gives you the opportunity to get muddled in the course of doing so. A wall switch eliminates that, and I would not want to use this without one. That’s what I mean by an excess of features.Of course if you are really finicky then this gives you control over every tiny detail of the lighting. But I have to ask, is the development of unlimited extra features being driven by user demand, or by the need to make the product stand out from others by appearing to offer more modes, when they are in practice not all that useful? Do you want to be able to have one color of front light and another of back light? Or are you far more likely to select two different colors by accident and wonder why things aren’t quite as you intended until you realize what you have done?I can’t mark this mirror down for giving you more controls and more modes. But I do wonder, when you have installed it, how many of them you will find useful and how many will make you glad you wired in a simple on/off switch.
