Replaced the original blower on a 2002 Camry XE due to it occassionaly seizing up and making constant noise. Watched a Youtube video and had the old one out and new blower motor in in about 10 minutes. This blower motor is very quiet!

There is a subtle whine while running and it doesn't move quite as much air as the OEM blower (fan blades are shorter and have a different design) but this was about $40 while the replacements from local retailers were $100-120. Overall it does the job well enough and I feel like the value alone was more than enough to make up for those very minor issues.Changing it out was pretty straightforward - remove the panel below the glovebox, unplug the white harness from the blower, remove three 8mm screws, pull blower. Installation is exactly the opposite. Took me about 45 minutes from start to finish, would have been faster but it was kind of difficult/awkward for me to access the area where the motor goes. For tools I used a ratchet, 8mm socket, and a short extension (4" maybe?). I used the extension to help start the screws during installation but If you have nimble enough fingers you probably won't need one.If you have any problems there are many step-by-step videos available on YouTube. Will update if I have durability issues.

Anything that is buried in your dash is going to be a pain to install- so already knew what I was signing up for. The fan works well, however it is a little noisy/makes a pretty significant humming sound when on the higher levels.

The part was a direct fit replacement however the power plug had a different connector than what I removed from my 2006 Toyota sienna. After searching I found that the 2007 sienna part is what I actually needed so I had to return this one for incorrect compatibility.Photo: left side is this part. Right side is what I pulled from my van. The plug prongs are different orientation and location. Slightly different face even though it fits into the blower motor opening just fine.

This fan is a direct replacement for my 2002 Camry. Works great! No issues! I would recommend.
