Instructions were not helpful at all but watching a YouTube video of this British dude installing a shifter showed me what to do and wasn’t too hard. Shifter feels great really short and just makes you want to shift as much as you can. Great upgrade I recommend!

When I took apart oem. I thought I receive the wrong part. The directions should be more in-depth. I almost requested a return. But wanted to make sure. I was able to figure it out and install. Better instructions would help. I would recommend this item. It does shorten the distance that you have to move the shifter from each gear.

This product is Not Bad in anyway, HOWEVER Fidanza need to get it together. The instucions they send are a joke, the shifter is GREAT.Im pretty competent when it comes to vehicales (3rd gen auto mechanic).Im happy with the install took 30 minutes +/-5.And the isolator and boot are still in transit.

The plastic bushing that lines up the shifter to the base would not fit, had to remove the plastic peice, now has extra rotational play (kinda feels like the shift knob is loose but its the whole shifter that is moving)Also the instructions are junk, its fine until you get to the shifter install, then all it says is "Install new shifter". Has no pictures for reference ether.I would expect this from a $30 ebay shifter, not a name brand one.

If you're having trouble figuring out how to install it because the instructions aren't very clear, go to youtube. The plastic piece on the bottom should stay on, take out the one from the old shifter if it doesn't come out with it. I personally had to stick my hand down in it to get it out so the new one would go in. Not an issue to me. Very easy from then on. I wish the instructions would've been better. Overall I love it, it is exactly what I wanted. The only thing I wish was different was the shift knob because it's now winter and it gets cold but I'll throw a different one on it that isn't metal and it'll be fine.
