The bad news was these weren't going to go on in any normal way, since I was putting them on studio monitors (to keep my kids from putting a finger through the woofers, as they had already tried on several occasions). I ended up drilling two new screw holes; it worked great!What impresses me is the finish matches my speakers perfectly and makes them look more expensive instead of cheaper (like I was afraid of). You can see the "before" in the monitor on my image and the "after" on the actual speakers.I can't speak to how easy they would have been to install the right way, but I didn't mind using a little DIY ingenuity.

Using it as a pass through in the back spare tire trunk. Still got the spare. Throw the groceries and packages in the back and so far no problems with the grill.

Using it currently for sub in trunk of my car. Look very nice, great quality. Don't have to worry about my subwoofer getting damaged. Thanks for the great product at reasonable price. Recommended highly(both company and product).

I bought these to cover a pair of Polk EX i 8 inch subs that were mounted in the floor of my trunk. These seemed sturdy, and the price was 15% of what Polk wanted for the stock sub grills.I am happy with the strength of the product, but the diameter is just a bit smaller than my speakers. I had to mount the mounting ring on top of the sub frame, instead of around it. So it protrudes into the trunk about 1/4 inch more than I had planned on.

I am currently customizing my mecrcedes from the upholstery to the audio , so I had some fiberglass work done on my rear deck to accomadate two 8 inch & 6 inch spkers..so I needed a particular type of grill to work to complete my look & vision & here it was this 8 inch grill made out of steel ( durable ) & handsomely designed so I painted it with my logo and I tell u not only did it look sexy all designed up , but best of all it was a perfect fit

I just got these for a PA system that I built. They are easy to use, and look great. They are held on the circular frame (the thing that looks like a donut) by little bulges in the metal. I don't know how durable this will be over time, however, I'd just use somekind of adhesive if this ever became an issue. I'd would definitely order these again.
