This is the ONLY tool that works for removing injectors from a t1n Sprinter. I had injectors that were stuck very badly and I could not get the engine started to replace. This tool removed them methodically and fits underneath the cowl. I recommend removing the in cabin air filter if this is for a t1n sprinter. Very good value and functional tool

If you're looking at this, just buy this product already. Forget salvaging your fuel injector, it ain't happening. The energy it's going to take to extract your injector will deform this puller. At the very least, the threads will destroy like mine. Do not expect to reuse it. Buy 1 kit per stuck injector. Maybe an extra for peace of mind.Keep this puller VERY WELL LUBRICATED. Verry very important. All moving parts, threads, and contact surfaces. Shouldn't be too tough, unless you've already used up all your penetrant/WD40/etc.I had success practicing the ol' tap/die technique of tightening some, backing it off and loosening a lil bit, then tightening more. I believe this was key to prevent cracking my valve cover, plus going very slowly and carefully.Engine-out rebuild, had a VERY stuck fuel injector in my OM647 Mercedes 2.7L 5cyl turbodiesel out of an '06 Sprinter. Turns out it was the ORIGINAL with 285k mi on it!! This puller gave it no choice but to come out.The injector did get stuck inside the puller, had to use a vice and some oomph to get it out. I wasn't confident enough in my ability to grind away material from the puller to buy clearance for the injector to come out smoothly.

The order arrived in time and packed well. I'm yet to use it to pull injectors, so I can't really say much about its durability and performance for now. Thank you

As one other reviewer noted this does not work without modification. The slot in the 30 mm socket is too narrow. It doesn't allow you aline the socket up with the flats on the solenoid nut unless it is in a perfect position to match the tool. Tool should be designed to work with nuts in any rotation position. Either bad design or bad manufacturing or both. I don't know how someone else who reviewed this tool could actually get it to work. Without altering it.

Worked for Mercedes om647 to pull injectors. I had major carbon buildup around each injector because the copper seals failed. I Used carb cleaner and a hook and pick set to get as much of the carbon off before I attempted to pull the injectors, they came out easy. You don’t need a reamer to clean the seats just use cottons cloths or old T-shirt’s, and plenty of carb cleaner. Twist the rags so they’ll fit in the injector hole, soak with carb cleaner, a flathead screw driver with a rag wrapped around it worked too. Use a portable vacuum to suck out the big stuff. I was able to pull the copper seal out after getting most of the carbon buildup out of the injector hole/housing, I then used a long hook and an adjustable handheld mirror to pull out the seal. Just be super careful not to allow Anything (a little carbon falling into the combustion chamber is going to happen) to enter the injector hole, and don’t damage the injector seat!
