These things WORK! I put one in a box full of childhood knick knacks because it was starting to get smelly (Not in a good way) and within a week everything was normal. No overwhelming smell (Nothing was in there that should not have been, I took everything out to be sure) and the items looked unbothered by the additional air scrubber. I also have one in the fridge to help with the odd onion smell (You know what I mean) and it has helped while the box of baking soda is in there. I will be trying it on the trash can lid (trash is trash, so you know how it can get) and see if it can tackle some of the things my brother puts in there when I am not home. I am glad for these, they are cute and little and seem like they will do great things to help de-odor my life better. :)

These are a nice set of discrete deodorizers. They are simple looking, so much so that a person might not even realize what they are at first. The colors are nice and neutral.Having a little place to be able to hang from a hook is a nice touch. Most deodorizers don’t have that. It increases the places you can put them.Right now I’m using one in my linen closet and another in my fridge. I think they are doing a great job, and I hope they last a long time.My star ratings explained:5 stars = Exceptional. I was pleasantly surprised by how compact these deodorizers are—they’re even smaller than I expected, yet incredibly efficient. They’re kind of cute, and I love that they come with both hooks and sticker backs so you can easily attach them to surfaces. Despite their size, they really do a great job neutralizing unpleasant smells, and I’ve noticed a huge difference in my shoes, closets, and refrigerator. Plus, they’re much longer-lasting than typical baking soda solutions. If you’re short on space but need a powerful odor eliminator, these are a fantastic pick!

I requested this item as a way to try and make old shoes smell a little less horrible. I have tried washing them using an item designed to clean shoes and had no success with removing the smell along with numerous different types of air fresheners and deodorizers.I like how the item comes with adhesive so they can stick to the surface if needed instead of sliding all around, but the adhesive wasn't very sticky. The adhesive at least stuck "sort-of", which is better than I can say for the deodorizing effect of this product.I first tried them in an old pair of shoes that have a horrible smell due to being old, and had no change even after days and days. I tried them again in a brand new pair of shoes right after taking them out of the box and placed them inside every day. At first I thought they might be working, but after a short time the shoes started to loose their "New Shoe" scent and the odor started to settle in. I continued to use this item every day and had the same results,I cannot recommend this item as its overpriced, and doesn't do what it states. You would be better off getting some sort of foot powder for your shoes and some cheap cleaning solution for anything else that might have an odor. If you wanted these for the freshness inside your cabinet or refrigerator I would go buy a few boxes of your local stores generic baking soda.

These pucks are small and easily fit in nooks and crannies. Honestly, we don’t have heavy odor issues so it’s hard to tell how effective these really are. We put them around the house… in the shoe closet, coat closet, walk-in closet, refrigerator, under the couches. They seem to be working, the lingering odors are dissipating. We like the size for hiding them be not sure how effective they can be for places bigger than a drawer. For now we’ll keep using them. Give them a try since your mileage may vary.

I immediately put all of these tiny deodorizers in many "smelly" places around my house such as near a stinky kitchen trash can, the cat litter box and in our bathrooms. Love all the muted various colors. I was able to easily mount them using the included sticky discs or by rigging up a little loop with a rubber band through the built in handle on each one. They seem to be doing a great job thus far. They do not emit any scent nor do they immediately remove any strong odors, but they work over time to absorb smells and make the area smell much much better. I hope that they do last the promised 2 years and would probably buy another package at that time.

The An Alkali 8-pack 10-Minute Deodorizer Odor Eliminators are small-sized sealed plastic containers in four colors (2 each). The alkali contents rattle, but do not fall out of the vent holes when shook. The 8 deodorizers come in an airtight resealable bag so you can use what you need and store the rest. The bag of deodorizers has a slight industrial chemical scent that isn't noticeable with only one deodorizer.There is a pack of adhesive stickers in the resealable bag that are easy to miss if you just pull out a few deodorizers at a time. You can use the stickers, hang the deodorizer using a loop of string, or just place one on a shelf like I did.I have three refrigerators and placed one deodorizer in each. After several days, the largest refrigerator smells clean. Not scented or covered up, just a fresh, clean air smell. The other two refrigerators don't smell bad, but one stills smells of spaghetti sauce and the other of boxed wine. The deodorizer hasn't been able to absorb the stronger smells, certainly not in 10 minutes as claimed.I think these might work better if they were larger. At their current size, with vent holes on only one side, there just isn't much surface area exposed of the alkali deodorizer.
