These work as advertised. READ the instructions and follow their recommendations. They say to remove them and not let the lights stay submerged. Believe the manufacturer and they will last quite a while. I use them to under light a fountain that does not stay on constantly and gives them time to dry out. These are actually replacement sets for the last ones we purchased, which lasted us just under three years. Which was much longer than I expected. I think they are a very good value for our application.

I bought these to go inside camping lantern buckets. They work great but batteries do not last. I had to keep changing the batteries about every other day if they were on at night. I did not put them in water so I don’t know how water resistant they are.

These are cool, seem to be pretty watertight they screw together with an o-ring. I did notice when I accidentally dropped one it just randomly came on. Having four remotes seems excessive, but it's nice to have them and other places throughout the house. I'm guessing most people are going to run them all in the same area. I'd buy the beginning they're cheap enough. And they look cool. I don't know why it has a suction review option because they don't stick to anything they just sit.

Liked that they were remote controlled, but you had to be real close to the light to trigger it.They are very cheaply made, I ordered 12 of them and most of them arrived cross-threaded and extremely hard to open. The battery compartment won’t hold the batteries in place and any little jiggle knocked them off their contact points.grrrrThey are waterproof, though….

I have previously bought these same lights years ago for halloween decorations and had great luck with them. I decided to get more to use as spot lights, like I've done before, instead of buying expensive spot lights I wasn't sure I would like. The first couple of days went well and they stayed on until I turned them off. I have only been keeping them on for a few hours so I can save some juice for halloween. I even bought really nice reliable batteries so they wouldn't die on me. Now they keep turning off after random times, sometimes its after an hour, the next 15 min, then maybe 45 minutes. The batteries are good and my old lights still stay on while using the same batteries that were put in at the same time as the rest. Now I need to find different lighting because I have no idea why these are being so frustrating. They were good a few years ago and I don’t know what has changed, but I don’t recommend buying more.
