I absolutely love this thing and wonder why it took so long for me to find it. Basically I carry a lot of 2pc rods, but they always seem to get tangled up when I go to use them. No longer. These simple silicone devices keep everything securely separated.At first I thought these were unnecessarily large, but I see now that the extra length keeps the rod pieces from twisting and overall, the size doesn't bother me once they are on the rods.For my use, this is EXACTLY what I was looking for. I would give it 10 stars if I could

These are pretty straightforward to use. Just slide your rod sections into the grooves and they will be held in place. The "ball" is long enough that just one is able to keep a set of 2 section rods relatively stable without twisting or flopping around. Each groove is different diameter with the center groove the largest. I thought they would be too small for my medium heavy rod which has like a 1 cm diameter at the mid section, but the holder was able to bend with relative ease and fit the rod section. Overall, it's a bit bulky, but works decently and keeps the rod sections apart unlike using rod ties, which bend the sections a little due to the rod handle being bulkier.
