They seal like any other zipper bag, you get a ton of them for the money, they hold a gallon, they are not hard to operate, and they look just like the real expensive ones. I've been buying these for years and must say I don't really see much difference in spending more money for other ones. We have a farm, and this is great for being able to bung in a pound or more green beans for someone and away they go, without the worry of the bag opening on them, or my having to fiddle with a twist tie.

We use them to hold the factory lug nuts that we give back to the customer. They have some weight to them, these bags are up to the challenge. Have used many different brands and this is the best for the price!!

I needed the 12" x 15" size to hold some 1 pound bags of tea that come in these tetra-type bag where the inside is aluminum (to preserve freshness) and the outside is plastic. These tetra-type tea bags have sharp corners and so the previous "fitted" resealable bags I was using before would get holes in them. Getting theses bigger 12" x 15" bags has now done the trick perfectly!I can also see using these bags for nuts or for freezing certain foods.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
