I dont think I paid very much for this, less then half a bill and it lasted around 3 months.I bought this because I got a huge TV that was very dim, and I wanted to see if it was just the lamp inside that made it dim. Turns out it was. The TV started turning off and on - would come on for a few seconds - show display and then turn off. I dont know what it was, odd behavior.So I bought the premium quality bulb meant for my TV from another website as amazon doesnt have the greatest track record with quality bulbs and there wasnt much of a difference - maybe a bit sharper image.I would say buy this bulb only to test a TV out, and then save up over the course of 2 months to buy a real bulb. Also make sure your fan in your set is working.

First of all, the part number matched but they didn’t look the same as the original bulb, which probably should have been my first clue. Second the screws that came on it didn’t fit the mount on the tv, I thought the screws were wrong... the tv worked for a few hours but when I turn the tv off and try to turn it on again the red light blinks and it won’t turn on, I’ve had to flip the switch in order for it to turn on. And it does the the same thing every time I turn the tv off.
