Seems good, magnet is strong but maybe not 925 lbs. Everything else looks good, now for warm weather to test out.

The main reason for ordering this set was so that I’d have something to carry my supplies in. Was very disappointed once I opened the box to see no backpack. Also the clip is very flimsy and don’t think it’ll last long! Would not recommend. I bought two sets and felt like I could’ve bought another set better for the price I paid!

Magnet is excellent. Son pulled up a bike and a fishing rod with reel on his first day out, TODAY. I was amazed to say the least. I listened to what others said and did NOT use the Carabiner. I tied a Palomar Knot to the magnet , wrapped the tag line with tape and it was super strong. Thread Locker was not included, but I already had some BLUE in house and used it. I chose this magnet because I liked the way the Ring connects through the magnet and not just screws into it like other manufacturers. I felt this reduced the likelihood of the ring detaching from the magnet due to workmanship defect or poor quality. Gloves are small, but kid-sized. Bag was included as some have said it wasn't. Included rope was more than sufficient. My kid wanted fishing lures and ended up getting the bike and rod. I would like to see a 360 version or N52 by THIS manufacturer. Very happy with the price and the end result. 5 Stars...

First off, this is VERY strong magnet and should be used with caution and always with gloves. This is my third magnet and the strongest I’ve purchased. I can’t say whether or not the 925 lb magnet will actually hold that much but the first thing I did was test it out on a hammer which was impressively difficult to remove. Next, I attached it to an antique water/well pump which weighs roughly 25 pounds. It picked it up and it held tight no problem. Since this was a thick piece of metal, I wanted to try something thinner. I have an antique scale which I attached to the thinnest part of the steel, maybe 2 mm and it picked it right up. The scale is also about 25 or so pounds. It was so hard to get off I had to slide it off. I couldn’t break the connection simply by pulling and it’s not like I’m a weakling or anything!So then why are people saying here and there that it’s weak? Well, if you attach it to a fridge for example, the metal is SO thin that it really doesn’t have much to hold onto. So, don’t use it on your fridge as a benchmark. Unless you want to pull a full size fridge up into the air and onto a bridge. Thanks but I’ll pass. Or small, tiny metal items. I also used a pocket knife to try out and again, did not want to come off at all. So there’s sort of a line between the right amount of metal and not enough. This magnet is a good buy for the money. Absolutely.Kit items review: The rope is ok. It’s rope. It’s not my preferred width but it works. There’s also a LOT of it which can become annoying as it tangles easily. You could probably eliminate 10-15 ft of it and still be fine depending on whether you high bridge hunt or land hunt. I prefer using boat/dock rope as for some reason it doesn’t tend to tangle so much but that’s just me. ALSO! DON’T use the carabiner!! It’s not that it’s bad but it’s not a good idea as you want a streamlined magnet to rope setup. By adding another component to that, you risk it getting caught on items or a failure of the carabiner. It has working parts and working parts can break. Instead, use the other end and tie a palomar knot. They actually include instructions for this in the box and there are also YouTube videos that will show you how. I use the carabiner to tie the end of the rope to something sturdy like a tree or bridge so if you throw it too hard you don’t lose it and that way you don’t attach it to yourself like some people do.Gloves: Some are saying they’re too small. I would compare them to a size medium if they were purchased at a hardware store etc. Gloves are good. No big thing.Bag: it’s cheap but all bags made like this are. I wouldn’t leave the magnet and rope in there for storage until it’s 100% bone dry or you’re gonna have a bad, smelly time. It’s nice to have though for sure when heading to or from fishing.Rag: microfiber cloth rag that is everywhere. It’s just a cheap item to add so they can built value in the kit.Stickers: not shown in the kit pictures, you get some neat stickers that are about 2x4 inches. Just something maybe fun for the kiddos.Overall, I am very impressed. I’ve only gone out with this magnet once in a new area that was fortunately clean for the river and unfortunate for my hunt. If the quality of the magnet degrades or breaks over time I will update this review.

Very nice product especially for the price. I bought this as a gift for my husband's birthday and he loved it. The magnet is extremely strong you better have some muscle if you connect to something that won't budge. I could not believe how strong the magnet was. What is even better than the product itself is the customer service. Good customer service is hard to find but they get right back to you immediately if you have questions and they follow up! Definitely recommend this product!

This magnet is lighter than my other ones, but with about the same pulling strength. Came with the rope, gloves and bag. I've spent more on rope and gloves and other magnets. This is a good deal. The Carabiner is heavy duty plastic, on this rope was not made to be put on the magnet, but it is good for attaching to something so you don't lose your magnet and rope. Throwing a heavy magnet gets tiring, and this magnet lets me stay longer, and not be hurting when I'm finished. Super happy with it.
