The vaccuum pump failed instantly - I ordered three of them that all failed inside of a week - I replaced with an OEM unit which lasted for ten years.

I chose this pump due to it's small size and big output. I used this in a project car that I swapped the original V6 out for a big stroker LS with a lot of cam in it and running a belt driven supercharger. This is a great setup for making power, but not vacuum for the power brakes and other accessories. I was able to fit this pump on the lower passenger side in a fairly tight spot due to its small size. It does put out a good steady 22" at idle. even with a nasty cam lope. Perfect for my needs and the output is enough that I didn't even need to add a ny additional vacuum tanks to my setup like I had figured I would need to. A great little setup for those who are using it for their own custom needs.

Eventhough the description says isuzu I knew its was the same pump as the one on my 7.3l powerstroke. It works fine. I had to switch the the shaft that the pulley presses onto as this one is ever so much smaller than the hole in my pulley. It was no big deal though. And now my brakes work again. Yay!
