From the outside it is identical to the original for a 2017 Santa Fe XL even the markings. Two minor issues: (1) flow seems a little weaker. (2) was missing the wire mesh on the pump intake so salvaged from old pump. Overall worth it from a part cost and self install vs. Dealership cost and service estimate. A little tricky to release the tab from the reservoir connecting to the pump (most challenging part of the change over).

This is a terrible pump. Defective, It is very weak, it does not spray enough washer fluid onto my windscreen to be of any good. This pump is a total safety risk and I will be getting rid of it before the winter arrives. I need my money back, I had to also pay to get it installed. Waste of time and money. Amazon needs to start implementing quality controls on things sold on their website especially when these items can put peoples' lives at risk. This pump is too weak to clean my windshield.

As far as I can tell, this is a genuine OEM part--same size, material, construction, and markings as the original part in my car (2017 Kia Sportage).Works perfectly. Installation is not exactly easy, but not really difficult either. Merely had to remove a few screws from the engine-undercover in order to gain access to the washer tank and pump. A bit fiddly to get out, but a couple of hard tugs and the old one popped out. Put in the new one and made sure to click in the top tab.
