Unfortunately the plugs are not manufactured to work with the EAS plug. There are opposing slots and tabs to prevent plugging it in backward. This one has all the slots on the going the same way so there is no inserting into the receiving.I will stop short of calling it a cheap knock off.Missed the return window so I am stuck with it.

Like other reviewers have stated, the notches in the Edge EAS female plug do not line up with the notches in the male plug. I was able to cut notches in the generic sensor's male plug to make it mostly fit. My CTS3 had to be updated before it would recognize the 0-100 PSIG sensor. It works but with extra effort that probably would have been better spent elsewhere.

Aftermarket harness that came with this sensor, was not compatible with the Banks accessory buss plug, port A. Luckily I had an extra factory Banks pigtail plug, with bare ends, that was left over from a previous sensor package I had purchased from Banks. The little black plastic keys, inside the aftermarket plug were positioned differently from the stock banks female plugs keyways, and would not allow the mating plugs to push together. I fought this for around a half hour, until I saw the tiny prongs and receiving keyways inside the plugs didn’t match up. I had to cut into the aftermarket harness, and install the banks factory plug end. I don’t know if Banks changed the plug configuration on the later Edge CTS. I have the first generation CTS, and now generation 3 is being sold. Buyer beware of this situation. I installed late last night, and have not gone to the Mystyle sorftware to configure the sensor, but will do today. I’ll report back if there are any more problems.

This is a generic replacement but Product seem to be decent quality. If I had noticed I would have paid the additional $40 for the oe product…..maybe. Either way this edge stuff is really expensive. This product doesn’t even connect directly to the edge unit (nor does the one edge sells for $180 or more). You still have to separately purchase a universal sensor input for $200+ and it only allows 2 sensors to hook up. So, for me to get my sensor readings, (boost or fuel pressure) I have to but the $140 sensor plus the $200 adapter. Too much money. But, for what it is, edge makes the best unit available. By far I believe. I have the cts3
