I like this 99 day countdown timer lock, it features light-duty but hearty construction, a long hasp, and it provides an accessory wire cable loop to allow the use of this lock on odd-sized containers. The time lock LCD display is bright, and the functionality of the timer and ease-of-setting is straightforward and easy to figure out. The provided instruction booklet provides complete information regarding the operation of the time lock, but it is a quick read.If you have a use for this type of security lock, then this may be for you. I give it high marks!

When working on equipment, it is often important to use a safety lockout, so someone else does not turn the equipment on either while working on the piece or waiting for parts to arrive. Having a lock which will only open after the set amount of time, has helped provide protection for me. If you wanted to use the lock to restrict your access for a period of time (such as fridge for dieting or other objects) it would work great. I have a friend who said he loves this lock as it would work great for self-bondage (he is a little different but a good friend) and ordered one for himself after seeing mine.

The lock wouldn't lock, and could be easily pulled apart.

This works great. I thought the latch would be too wide but it is not. This is to replace a time lock with a twisted wire latch and this one fits and I think it will work better. I also got it within a few days. Of course this can be broken but for my uses it will be perfect

Provided you can summon the discipline to actually get up and lock your things away in the first place, this shaves hours of unproductive BS off your day. I work like a horse once I'm on a task, but actually GETTING on-task can be next to impossible when I'm exhausted and my laptop and my Switch are in easier reach than the chores I'm supposed to be doing. This has also been invaluable reinforcing impulse control: I check my e-mail once in the morning, check fun sites like Discord or other social media platforms, and then lock my internet options away for a few hours so I can get to work writing or working around the house.Production-wise this thing is very sturdy, sleek, and functions beautifully. There are some people commenting (on this lock and other locks like it) how you can apparently 'trick' the clock or jimmy the mechanism, but the bottom line is that if you want something bad enough, you're always going to be able to find a way to cheat the system and get what you want. This thing isn't Alcatraz -- it's a deterrent. The rest is up to you and your willpower.I love this thing and would recommend it to literally anyone. Can't tell you how many hours I've saved with it.
