This review is for a coil of bare 99.9% pure copper wire, sold as Amazon ASIN B0DSBWLWTH by seller Acuteye. The ASIN lists five variants; I ordered and received the 50' long, 12ga diameter coil.I am unable to verify the purity of the copper. However, the coil plus a light plastic spindle together weigh 444g as shipped. Using the length, gauge, and density of copper yields 449g. So from a weight perspective, it seems to be consistent with copper, and I'm guessing the shortage in weight is that the wire is probably slightly under gauge, again something I can't measure to any accuracy.Interestingly, the coil of copper is clearly not machine-wound under tension, which would have uniform layers of tightly spaced copper. Instead, the coil appears to be hand-wound (matching the listing picture) as the direction of the layers changes constantly and there are distinct high and low spots in the diameter.Overall, it appears to be consistent with the product listing, and good enough for the crafting purposes I have planned.
